Meet the Founder of Sr. N Reproductive Health Clinic, Sr. Ntombifuthi Mayinga-Ngobeni, a registered Professional Nurse with the South African Nursing Council and The Board of Health Founders. She is a trained healthcare provider having worked with qualified Medical Doctors, possessing over 29 years’ experience in the medical field and over 22 years of providing high-quality professional abortion service in Mpumalanga.
Her extensive experience spans roles such as a Professional Nurse and Chief Professional Nurse for nearly 7 years under the Mpumalanga Department of Health and a Clinic Manager and Abortion Service Provider for 12 years at Marie Stopes Clinic, South Africa.
Sr. Ntombifuthi Mayinga-Ngobeni’s expansive education background includes a Diploma in Nursing majoring in General, Community, Psychiatry & Midwifery from the Limpopo College of Nursing, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Nursing Science, specialising in Nursing Management and Nursing Education, from the University of South Africa. She is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health at the University of South Africa.
Sr. Ntombifuthi Mayinga-Ngobeni holds a Certificate in Termination of Pregnancy, the Management of Incomplete Abortions and Other Related Reproductive Health Matters, trained by IPAS through the National Department of Health, as part of the first group of Midwives in South Africa in 1998, as well as a Dispensing Licence obtained through the Health Science Academy.
In 2019, Sr. Ntombifuthi Mayinga-Ngobeni’s exceptional work was recognized by the Mpumalanga Provincial Department of Health, at the Health Excellence Awards, where she was awarded an Honorary Award.
